ALOKA
Motion Graphics, Social Media and Web Design
Aloka is a startup offering an app for renting film equipment among professionals. I helped build its digital presence from the ground up, developing the social media strategy, creating content for Instagram and TikTok, and designing the app’s UX/UI to ensure a seamless user experience.
Social Media Strategy
As it was a new brand, we aimed to make Aloka known and attract freelance professionals, our main target at that stage. I worked closely with the marketing director to build the brand’s digital presence from scratch, creating content and the social media strategy designed to drive traffic to the landing page and capture email sign-ups. Over a period of four months, we successfully built an engaged community of 1,300 followers on Instagram, generated 6,818 clicks to the landing page, and received 8,096 visits to the Instagram profile, establishing a strong foundation for the startup’s growth.
The brand needed a website aimed at professionals in the audiovisual sector. Since Aloka defined itself as the “Airbnb for film equipment,” the site had to reflect that same intuitive and dynamic experience. I designed the website, ensuring brand consistency across visuals, tone, and navigation, creating a platform that felt both familiar and tailored to its target audience.
Web Design
Motion Graphics
As the brand was still being built, I created the logo animation and a series of explainer videos to introduce the app and its concept.
The logo followed the brand’s visual identity, with rounded and organic shapes that convey sustainability, circular economy, and movement, concepts which I wanted to reflect in the logo animation.
Since Aloka was an innovative project with a clearly defined target audience, these pieces helped communicate the brand’s identity and explain how the app worked in a simple, engaging, and visually consistent way.
